Week 1: What Is Spiritual Prayer?
Theme: Prayer as Relationship, Not Ritual

Reflection:
Consider what prayer has meant to you up until now. Has it felt like a duty, or a conversation? Ask yourself how your relationship with God could grow if prayer became a daily communion rather than a task.
Call to Action:

Week 2: The History and Legacy of Prayer

Reflection:
Explore how prayer shaped the early Church, (Read the Book of Acts), From the Old Testament prophets to the first-century disciples, prayer has always sustained God’s people. How can their example strengthen your faith?
Call to Action:
Read one Prayer introduction (In resources) and one Psalm aloud each day this week, starting with Psalm 51, Write a brief reflection in your journal on how it mirrors your own prayer life.
Week 3: The Purpose of Prayer
Theme: Alignment, Not Control
Key Scripture:
“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” — Matthew 6:10
Reflection:
Do your prayers reflect surrender or control? This week, think about how prayer helps you align with God’s will instead of trying to shape outcomes your way.
Call to Action:
Create a “Surrender List.” Write down the things you’re trying to control. Each day, pray one of them into God’s hands and release it.
Week 4: Prayer and Spiritual Health
Theme: Prayer as Soul Care
Key Scripture:
“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
Reflection:
How does prayer help you emotionally or spiritually? Is it a refuge or a last resort? This week reflects the role of prayer in managing stress, anxiety, or spiritual fatigue.
Call to Action:
Each day, write 3 things you’re thankful for and offer a prayer of thanksgiving in your Journal. (Gratitude)
Week 5: The Power of Intercession
Theme: Standing in the Gap
Key Scripture:
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people.” — 1 Timothy 2:1
Reflection:
Prayer is not just personal—it’s communal. Who are you praying for? Are there people in your life who need your intercession?
Call to Action:
Make a prayer list of five people who need support. Commit to praying for them each day this week and send them a message of encouragement.
Week 6: Prayer as a Lifelong Journey
Theme: From Practice to Posture

How can prayer become part of your lifestyle rather than a scheduled activity? Think about ways to invite God into the quiet and the busy moments of your day.
Call to Action:
Set three “prayer checkpoints” in your day—morning, midday, and evening. Each time, pause for a short prayer of awareness, thanks, or listening.

Day 1: Repentance & Renewal

Spend time in confession and ask God for a fresh start.
Day 2: Listening in Silence
“Be still and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Turn off all distractions. Set a timer for 10 minutes. Sit silently and listen.
Day 3: Vision & Commitment
“Write the vision; make it plain on tablets.” — Habakkuk 2:2
